We are currently recruiting for the position of HGV Fitter to be part of our skilled team who maintain our extensive fleet of trucks and trailers in Nolan UK Group, Bridgend.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and fault finding on vehicles and trailers using the latest diagnostic equipment.
• Ensure all vehicles & trailers are maintained in accordance with DVSA and manufacturer’s specifications.
• Completion of documents in an accurate and timely manner.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and workplace environment.
• Ensure that all relevant legislation and Health & Safety procedures are adhered to.

Required Skills

• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to carry out PMI to DVSA standards.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work to deadlines and under own initiative.

Experience & Education

• Qualified HGV Mechanic (Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair).
• Good communication skills.
• 2 years previous experience required.

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Flexitime
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends
• Overtime
