NOLAN : From One Truck to a Legacy: Remembering Jimmy Nolan

Today, 14th May, we celebrate the birthday of our late founder, Jimmy Nolan, who would have turned 91.

Jimmy passed away in 2018, but his legacy continues to guide everything we do.

From one man and one truck, Jimmy laid the foundations for what has grown into a leading international logistics business — with over 700 trucks, 2,000 trailers, more than 1,000 employees, and a presence across Ireland, the UK, and mainland Europe.

Today, the Nolan business is proudly in the hands of the second and third generation of the Nolan family, working side by side with a great team of dedicated people who continue to drive the business forward.

We’re still Movin-On, just as Jimmy envisioned.
