Our strength lies in our innovative IT led strategy, which allows us to maintain optimum control and over 2700+ pieces of equipment in all critical areas and in real time. This role will be key in designing, building and supporting core systems for the organisation.
We are currently recruiting for an experienced, full-time PHP Developer & System Support Specialist to join our team in New Ross, Co. Wexford.
This role is part of a great team of professional IT specialists and will report directly to the IT Manager. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a challenging, busy workplace and have a passion for learning new skills in a progressive, high growth business context.
Main Responsibilities;
- Developing and upgrading the company’s bespoke Transport Planning Systems.
- Integrating new and current systems with third party software and systems.
- Providing support on all things IT to the company staff.
Requirements;
The Ideal candidate will have:
- 2 + years’ demonstrable experience in full stack web development in a business environment with PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML5, JQuery.
- An understanding of object-oriented concepts and design patterns.
- Experience with MVC frameworks is desirable.
- A good General Knowledge of IT.
- Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Willingness to learn and supporting various types of IT Systems.
- Android App. Development / support experience would be beneficial.
