Are you interested in the motor trade working on heavy trucks and trailers? Do you want a career in mechanical engineering working for one of the largest transport companies in the UK and Ireland. If so, we can offer you a fantastic start in your career path.

We will work with you to gain your qualification, providing on the job experience with our skilled engineers, in addition we will support you whilst you study at college one day a week. Our employees provide an excellent learning environment encouraging apprentices to reach the full of their ability.

This position will provide you with all the skills required to progress and excel in the motor trade with the option for full time employment once qualified.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to inspect and repair trucks and trailers
• Learn how to carry out basic repairs to become more complex as you progress
• Learn how to MIG TIG and ARC Weld
• Become competent in the completion of documentation
• Complying with health and safety standards
• Liaise with the garage administration team

Requirements

• Have an interest in Mechanics and/or metal fabrication
• Be willing to learn and capable of taking direction
• A self-starter with an enthusiastic attitude

Apprenticeship salary and tool allowance on offer for the successful candidates.
