Mobile Mechanic Fitter – Cannock, UK

We are currently recruiting for the position of Mobile Mechanic to be part of our skilled team to maintain our extensive fleet of trucks and trailers in John Raymond Transport in Cannock, UK. We are one of the UK’s leading and fastest growing transport firms with over 600 Trucks and 3,000 Trailers.

Responsibilities

• Regular Trailer maintenance servicing and repairs in Cannock.
• Preparation of vehicles & trailers for testing.
• Mobile trailer and Truck Repairs.
• Completion of documentation.
• Complying with health and safety standards.
• Liaising with the garage administration team.

Requirements

• Relevant IRTEC Qualification with 2 years’ experience in similar role.
• A self-starter with the ability to work unsupervised.
• Track record and desire to learn new skills.
• Enthusiastic and capable of working in a fast-moving environment.

Job Type: Full-time.

Location: Mobile based from Cannock.

Salary: Linked to experience

Supplemental pay types:

• Overtime paid at enhanced rate.
• Bonus scheme.

Schedule:

• 40-hour week Monday to Friday.
• On call availability as required.
