Payroll Accountant

We are currently recruiting for the position of Payroll Accountant. The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Lead and provide support in the processing of weekly, fortnightly and monthly payroll for high volumes of employees
  • Respond to HR, line manager and employee payroll related queries in a timely fashion
  • Process new starters and leavers, including issuing P45's
  • Review the set-up and management of employee deductions, benefits and taxable payments
  • Complete Payroll month end, including statutory reporting
  • Other ad-hoc responsibilities

The successful candidate will be required to have the following:

  • Qualified accountant or degree qualified in a finance discipline with a minimum of 2 years PQE in Payroll
  • IPASS qualified
  • A solid understanding of payroll related matters, excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to deliver under pressurised deadlines
  • Salary dependant on experience


Environmental Health & Safety Manager

The ideal candidate should have the following:

  • A Recognised Health & Safety Qualification
  • Good IT skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on their own initiative
  • Good communications skills
  • Minimum of two years’ experience

Financial Accountant

Description

Exciting job opportunity for a recently qualified accountant with minimum 2-3 years post qualification experience to join a fast moving company. Nolan Transport owns and operates one of the largest fleets of road transport equipment throughout Europe. With over 50 years' experience in the transport industry, a motivated workforce along with cutting edge technology we aim to provide our customers with a first class service and full visibility throughout the transport process

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assistance in the preparation of monthly accounts and annual statutory financial statements/li>
  • Ensuring month end activities are completed within deadlines
  • Maintaining trial balance reconciliations
  • Preparation of key performance indicators and variance analysis
  • Preparation and submission of payroll and revenue submissions
  • Assistance in internal and external audits when required
  • Involvement in continuous improvement initiatives and various projects within the Accounting team
  • Other ad hoc reporting duties as they arise

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Qualified Accountant with previous experience in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work both as a team and on own initiative.

Senior Financial Role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced financial professional to take the next step in your career and join our company during a period of sustained growth.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that financial information is delivered in a timely manner and to high standards of accuracy; you will work closely with the wider business providing comprehensive analysis of financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all financial reporting activities including monthly management accounts for a number of companies along with analysis and commentary.
  • Responsible for annual statutory accounts in addition to managing the annual audit and relationship with the external auditors.
  • Tracking the performance through monthly reporting, with effective communication to management team of variances identified.
  • Working capital management, operating margins and control of overheads.
  • Support the implementation of accounting procedures and policies and compliance review of same that supports the sustainable growth of the business
  • Tax - Working with external tax advisers on day-to-day tax matters and tax compliance,
  • Strategic Planning and Budgets assisting in preparation of budgets, reforecasts and long range strategic planning, with strategic input to decision making
  • Support data integrity and preparation of financial information to ensure completeness, accuracy, timeliness and accessibility of financial information,
  • Evaluation, modelling and analysis of commercial initiatives and proposals, supporting senior management decision-making
  • Work closely with external auditors and implement agreed recommendations
  • Preparation of monthly management information to include company and group reporting information and packs.
  • Transfer pricing for intra group transactions.
  • Perform ad hoc and special projects assignments, as required.

The Person

  • Qualified Accountant
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Senior Financial Role
  • Excellent business acumen and commercial awareness
  • Analytical approach with good problem solving, research and decision making skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within organisation Strong reporting and written communication skills, ensuring strong quality of deliverables at all times tailored to the needs of the audience
  • Ability to perform under minimum direction with a positive approach to dealing with challenges
  • Excels in operating in a fact paced environment.
  • Delegates responsibilities effectively
  • Ability to work to and meet deadlines

Polish Operator for Transport Office

The ideal candidate should have the following;

  • Transport Operations experience an advantage
  • Fluent in Polish, Russian and English languages.
  • Ability to work within a team is essential.
  • Good computer skills required.

Lithuanian Operator for Transport Office
