Sales & Business Development Country Manager – Spain
We are currently recruiting for the role of Sales & Business Development Manager for a permanent contract. This role will suit someone who has excellent organisational skills and enjoys working in a busy logistics office environment. The successful candidate must speak fluent English & Spanish. This role can be based in Valencia or Bilbao with possibility for some remote working.
Responsibilities
- Successfully manage and achieve quarterly and annual sales targets
- Identify new profitable business opportunities by analysing the market
- Drive growth of the business by creating brand awareness in the markets of trade between Spain to Ireland – exports and imports
- Monitor customer service standards and suggest improvements
- Manage and motivate a team of sales, customer service and transport planning professionals
- Liaise with company headquarters in Ireland
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in Sales and Business Development
- Successful candidate must have prior experience in road transport and logistics in the Spanish market of trade with Ireland
- Strong commercial acumen – ability to deliver on customer requirements, create strategy, negotiate and implement business contracts
- Proven track record in business development and relationship management
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong presentation, forecasting and data analysis skills
- Fluent in written and spoken English & Spanish
- Full driving licence as occasional travel required
